Surgical Stainless Steel Medical ID Plaque with SEE OTHER SIDE pre-engraved on the front. Fits on any of our interchangeable sport straps or faux leather straps. Plaque sold separately. Made of 316L Surgical Stainless Steel. Most medical bracelets on the internet are usually 304 Stainless. Although both are hypoallergenic 316L is non-corrosive. It is also known as "marine grade" stainless steel due to its increased resistance to chloride corrosion compared to type 304. Note: This plaque is recommended for Active Children, since the plaque can absorb lots of punishment and scratching, and still be very readable. Additional engraving of the child's exact medical condition is available on the back side where it will be protected by the strap, and can't be scratched. You can choose between traditional (etched) style engraving or black/lasered engraving for this item when you select your font. There is no color added in traditional engraving. We simply etch the inscription into the metal in the font selected. For black/lasered style engraving, the inscription is lasered onto the metal in black letters using either a Plain Block font or Block Fifth Avenue font.
